Carrer de l'Hospital, 08001 Barcelona, España
The El Raval neighbourhood is where narrow streets, green spaces, craft beer and culture come together – creating the perfect setting for this large but luxury shared apartment. This large 5-bed apartment benefits from everything on its doorstep -modern design, independent cafes, dive bars, not to mention world famous Las Ramblas and Boqueria market.
Easily accessible on the first floor of this newly modernised building, you can enjoy modern and social living both inside and outside the apartment, with like-minded neighbours, a stunning shared roof terrace with 360 views, and some of the best Barcelona has to offer right on your doorstep.
In this unique 5-bedroom apartment, we’ve created a modern light-filled layout that offers individual privacy mixed with plenty of social spaces. Spanning the length of the building, this huge apartment is recently renovated whilst maintaining its original Spanish charm – wood-beamed ceilings and bright wall prints decorate throughout. The big open-planned kitchen and lounge is a great place to cook and chat to your housemates, and also neatly divides the apartment into two bedrooms and a bathroom at the front, and three bedrooms and a bathroom at the back. One of the back bedrooms even having its own en suite and large private terrace! Each room is fully furnished and individually lockable, with some fantastic extras such a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, large communal fridge, ducted air-conditioning & heating and a separate washer and dryer in the laundry area.
Following a successful urban revitalisation of the area, the area around La Boqueria Market is now one of the most fashionable areas in town. Artists, designers, musicians, and young professionals have flocked, and within walking distance of the apartment you’ll find some of the city’s best bars, newest restaurants and finest contemporary culture, set against a backdrop of historic architecture and winding narrow streets.
The nearby imposing white, glass-fronted MACBA modern art museum houses a brilliant mixed collection of well-known names, including famed Spanish artists Dali, Picasso and Velazquez, and exciting temporary exhibitions from emerging artists. Skateboarders outside use the gleaming open square to practice their tricks from dawn to dusk, whilst the surrounding streets pack in contemporary design stores, fashion boutiques and cosy corner cafes. If it is bohemian charm mixed with vibrant modern style you’re after, La Boqueria is the place to be.
