Rooms to rent Hoxton

Looking for a room to rent Hoxton area? Hoxton, a district within the East End of London, is arguably one of the trendiest up-and-coming places in the capital.  People often struggle to distinguish between Hoxton and Shoreditch, as both districts historically from part of the same borough.

After the second world war many of the small industries, which previously occupied the borough, gradually moved out and gave way to young artists and by the 1980’s the old industrial warehouses and lofts had transformed into inexpensive clubs, raves and art exhibitions.

The district, forming the western part of Shoreditch, is now an area of London famous for its vibrant nightlife and numerous bars, clubs and hipster beards. In Hoxton you will never be short of edgy art galleries and make sure to look out for the weird and wonderful graffiti that has begun to define the borough’s fascinating and immersive atmosphere. Slightly to the South, Shoreditch itself offers one of the craziest nights out in London and is home to dozens of nightclubs, bars and  independent cinemas. Boxpark, the worlds first pop-up mall, is also an exciting and inexpensive shopping and culinary experience.

Leisure

As well as the animated night life, Hoxton also offers numerous things to do during the day. The Regents Canal runs straight through Hoxton and is perfect it you’re looking to clear your mind from the hustle and bustle of the city – alternatively explore the 19 acres of grass and playgrounds which make up Shoreditch Park. The Geffrye Museum is also located nearby which contains fascinating displays depicting how households and gardens have transformed in style and design over the centuries.
